First Year Shoots 71, Earns Top Ten Finish

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Quinnipiac golf finished off the 2021 Navy Fall Invitational with a score of 620 (+44). John O'Connor's team wrapped up the event tied for 6^th in the 13-team field. QU ended the tournament eleven strokes behind host Navy and thirteen strokes behind co-medalists Richmond Spiders and Sacred Heart Pioneers.

First-year golfer Aimee Uchida continued her strong start to the season carding a one under par 71 and two-day total of 150 (+6). First Year Elyse Kim followed closely behind finishing with a 153 (+9). Senior Elena Lopez finished with 158 (+14) at the Naval Academy Golf Course.

First Year Fuge Zhang came into the clubhouse with a score of 161 (+17) and Senior Darby Lillibridge finished with a total of 163 (+19).

Both Richmond and Sacred Heart finished with a two-day total of 607 (+31) to share medalist honors.

Quinnipiac tied for first in total birdies made with 23.

The Bobcats will be hosting the Quinnipiac Classic in Wallingford, Connecticut on October 11 and 12.
