Unbeaten Fairfield Bests Volleyball
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's volleyball dropped a road MAAC contest with Fairfield, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon at the Fairfield University RecPlex.

QUINNIPIAC STATISTICAL LEADERS Aryanah Diaz led the Bobcats with 13 kills, while Nicole Legg recorded five. Chloe Ka'ahanui notched 14 assists, while Faavae Kimsel Moe led the team with 14 digs.
Ka'ahanui also recorded 12 digs, while Diaz added 10.
SET ONE
The two teams evenly split the first nine points, before Fairfield went on an 11-2 run to take the early edge. The Bobcats were able to gain some momentum by a Lexi Morse kill before falling 25-12 in the first set.
SET TWO
Fairfield went up 7-2 early in the second set, then Legg and Diaz tallied back-to-back kills. QU scored four consecutive points to make it within a one-point game, 12-11. The Stags pulled away with six consecutive points, winning the second set 25-18.
SET THREE
Legg's two kills helped the Bobcats lead 7-4, scoring four consecutive times. The two teams went back and forth until Fairfield scored nine straight points in the middle of the set, making it 18-11 at the time. A set error from Nicole Migliozzi finished off the match, 25-18.
NEXT MATCH
The Bobcats return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 6 as they travel to Loudonville, N.Y., to play the Siena Saints.
