No. 10 Quinnipiac drops its second ECAC game to Colgate
HAMILTON, N.Y. – The No. 10 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey dropped its second ECAC game to No. 5/5 Colgate, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon. Junior Lexie Adzija scored the Bobcats' lone goal, and redshirt sophomore Logan Angers tallied a career-high 29 saves in the loss.
Colgate's Danielle Serdachny netted two goals, and netminder Kayle Osborne made 21 saves. Quinnipiac moves to 3-2 on the season (0-2 ECAC play) and Colgate improves to 6-1-1 (2-0 ECAC play).

- (10:38, 1st period, PP) – Quinnipiac 0, Colgate 1: Colgate's scored its first power play goal of the weekend off a faceoff. Rosy Demers scored on the back door off a shot by Sydney Bard to give Colgate a 1-0 lead. Bard and Delani MacKay tallied the assists.
- (2:24, 2nd period, PP) – Quinnipiac 0, Colgate 2: The Raiders scored the second power play goal of the game off a another rebound on the back door. Kalty Kaltounkova set a shot on net from the right point and Danielle Serdachny was at the right spot to tap the puck in past Angers. Tanner Gates recorded the second assist.
- (15:28, 3rd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 0, Colgate 3: Colgate took a 3-0 lead when Allyson Simpson took a shot from outside of the slot and Darcie Lappan tapped in the rebound. Eleri MacKay also recorded an assist.
- (7:29, 3rd period, PP) – Quinnipiac 1, Colgate 3: Junior Lexie Adzija netted her second of the season on the Bobcats' power play. Sophomore Sadie Peart found senior Taylor House on the right side, and House sent the puck across the ice to Adzija. The junior forward sent it first time past Colgate's Osborne to give Quinnipiac its first goal of the game.
- (17:06, 3rd period, EN) – Quinnipiac 1, Colgate 4: Serdachny scored her second of the game to give Colgate a 4-1 lead off an empty-net goal.
- The Bobcats allowed two power play goals in the loss; Quinnipiac had not allowed a power play goal through its first four games of the season.
- Adzija scored her second goal of the year and first on power play. House and Peart each tallied an assist – House now leads the team with five assists this season.
- Angers made a career-high 29 saves in the loss. The redshirt sophomore netminder moves to 3-2 on the season.
- Colgate outshot Quinnipiac 33-22. The Raiders went 2-4 on the power play, and the Bobcats went 1-3.
