Tabin, Reilly Earn ECAC Hockey Post-Season Recognition

Two Defensemen Represent Bobcats in Post Season Awards
ALBANY, N.Y. - Senior defenseman Kati Tabin and first-year defenseman Kate Reilly were honored with post-season recognition by the ECAC, as announced by the league Thursday, March 5.
Tabin was named to the ECAC Third-Team All-League, and Reilly was named to the ECAC All-Rookie Team. Reilly is the first Quinnipiac rookie to be selected to the ECAC All-Rookie Team since Melissa Samoskevich in 2016.
The senior captain finished the year with a career-high stat sheet of five goals and 13 assists for 18 points, which led all Quinnipiac defensemen and was ranked seventh in the ECAC for defensemen scoring. Tabin had one power play goal and one game-winning goal, along with a +9 on-ice rating and 41 blocked shots. She led the Bobcats' defensive core to a 1.89 goals against average/scoring defense, which ranks eighth in the country.
Reilly skated alongside Tabin all season as her defense partner for the Bobcats' defensive core. The first year was a standout from the beginning of the season and recorded six goals and 11 assists for 17 points, which ranked eighth in the conference for defensemen scoring. The first year had two power play goals, one game-winning goal and a +9 on-ice rating. Reilly was second on the team in blocks with 51 and was an integral part of the Bobcats' penalty kill and power play, as was Tabin.
