Quinnipiac Finishes Regular Season With 9-5 Home Record

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball won its final home contest of the 2019-20 regular season on Sunday afternoon at the People's United Center in Hamden, as the Bobcats led wire-to-wire in a 71-52 victory over Marist. With the win, Quinnipiac finishes with a 9-5 home record in 2019-20.

The Bobcats largest lead was 19 points – which was also the final margin. Quinnipiac never trailed in the contest.

Kevin Marfo stuffed the box score with 10 points, 16 rebounds, five assists and four blocks. Rich Kelly had 17 points, Aaron Falzon poured in 13 points, and Jacob Rigoni chipped in with 12 points in the win.

Quinnipiac knocked down 14 more three-pointers in the victory, its 14^th game of the season with 10+ three-pointers.
Rich Kelly led the way with 17 points, going 3-of-6 from three-point range. The junior also had three assists and two rebounds. Kelly was a team-best +25 on the floor.
Kevin Marfo's double-double is his 17th of the season. The big man played in 30 minutes, scoring 10 points to go along with 16 rebounds, five assists and four blocks.
Aaron Falzon added 13 points and four rebounds, draining three shots from long range.
Jacob Rigoni chipped in with 12 points, going 4-of-6 from three-point range. Rigoni has made 11 three-pointers over Quinnipiac's last three games.
Tyrese Williams recorded six points, five rebounds and four assists.
Matt Balanc added eight points off the bench in almost 10 minutes on the floor.
Tyree Pickron scored five points and grabbed two rebounds.
Quinnipiac is now 10-5 in Division I program history against the Red Foxes.
