HAMDEN, Conn. – Sophomore Tyrese Williams led the way with 21 points on Sunday afternoon at the People's United Center in Hamden, as Quinnipiac men's basketball fell by the final score of 65-63 in MAAC play. The Bobcats are now 11-11 (6-6 MAAC) in 2019-20.

Aaron Falzon tied the game on a three-pointer with 12 seconds remaining, then Manhattan's Tykei Greene converted on a layup attempt with less than two seconds left to send the Jaspers home with a win.

Falzon finished with 14 points, and Kevin Marfo added 11 points and 13 rebounds.

The Bobcats shot 19-of-45 (42.2 percent) from the floor in total, knocking down 11-of-24 (45.8 percent) shots from three-point distance.
Tyrese Williams recorded 21 points, six rebounds and two assists in total. He shot 6-of-15, knocking down four three-pointers.
Kevin Marfo added 11 points and 13 rebounds. The redshirt junior has six double-doubles in QU's last seven games, and 13 total double-doubles this year.
Aaron Falzon added 13 points, shooting 4-of-16 from distance. He tied the game with a three-pointer with 12 seconds to go. Falzon has scored 10+ points six times.
Jacob Rigoni chipped in with eight points and two rebounds, and Rich Kelly added seven points and four assists.
Manhattan outscored the Bobcats 36-14 in the paint, and the Jaspers forced 25 QU turnovers.
Quinnipiac outscored Manhattan 11-3 on second-chance attempts.
The Bobcats are now 6-9 all-time against Manhattan, falling in three straight against the Jaspers.
