JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Quinnipiac men's basketball fell in MAAC play on Friday night at the Yanitelli Center by the final score of 84-72.

Kevin Marfo led the way with a season-best 17 points and 10 rebounds – his 13^th double-double of the season. Rich Kelly added 13 points, five rebounds and two assists. Matt Balanc (11 points), Tyrese Williams (10 points) and Tyree Pickron (10 points, season-high) all added to the scoring effort for the Bobcats.

NOTES

The Bobcats shot 25-of-53 (47.2 percent) from the floor, knocking down seven three-point field goals on the night. Quinnipiac shot 18-of-27 (66.7 percent) in the second half, going 6-for-11 (54.4 percent) from distance.
Marfo's 17 points came via 4-of-6 shooting, going 9-for-14 from the free throw line.
Rich Kelly added 13 points on 4-of-10 shooting in 29+ minutes. He also had five assists.
Tyree Pickron tied his career high with 10 points, also recording three rebounds and a steal in 21+ minutes on the floor.
Matt Balanc (11 points, 5-for-9 FG) and Tyrese Williams (10 points, 4-of-10 FG) chipped in on the scoring effort for the Bobcats.
Saint Peter's out-rebounded the Bobcats 31-25.
The Bobcats outscored SPU 52-46 in the second half.
Quinnipiac outscored the Peacocks 17-11 in fast break points.
