Quinnipiac Heads to Fairfield on Friday Night

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball fell in MAAC play by the final score of 84-77 on Wednesday night at the People's United Center in Hamden.

Rich Kelly led the way with 26 points on 10-of-16 shooting, knocking down five three-pointers. Kevin Marfo padded the box score with 14 points, 11 rebounds and career-high eight assists in 33 minutes.

The Bobcats shot 29-for-59 (49.2 percent) from the floor in total, knocking down 14-of-28 three-point attempts.

The Bobcats started the second half on a 13-5 run, cutting the deficit to just one point.
With 26 more points, Rich Kelly now leads the team with 16.7 points per night.
Marfo now has 16 double-doubles this year, the highest total of any MAAC player.
Jacob Rigoni added 12 points and seven rebounds, going 4-of-5 from three-point range. He now has 12 games of 10+ points this season.
Tyrese Williams chipped in with 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting, and Aaron Falzon knocked down three three-pointers for nine points.
Siena outrebounded the Bobcats 34-30.
There were four lead changes in total, and the game was tied twice.
The Bobcats are now 6-8 during the Division I era against Siena.
