First-year Markela Bejleri Named to Albanian National Team Roster
TIRANA, Albanian - First-year midfielder Markela Bejleri was called up to the Albanian National Team for the European Women's Championships, as announced by the Albanian Football Association. Bejleri will compete with the Albanian National Team in the UEFA Women's Championship qualifying round on March 11, 2020 against Cyprus.
The first-year was also rostered to the Albanian National Team during the Women's World Cup Qualifiers back in June of 2019.
Bejleri finished her first-year season with two goals and three assists and started 16 games out of 18 total.
