Turner Announces Captains ahead of the 2019-20 Season

Prater, Tabin named co-captains, Ives, Konigson named assistants
HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey teams has announced its captains for the 2019-20 season. Seniors Kenzie Prater and Kati Tabin were named co-captains, and senior Abbie Ives and junior Olivia Konigson were named assistant captains.
The senior defensemen will both wear the "C" for the first time ahead of the 2019-20 season. Prater played in all 36 games for the Bobcats last season, recording three goals and five assists for eight points. Tabin also played in every game for Quinnipiac during the 2018-19 season and led the Bobcats' defense with 13 points on four goals and nine assists.
Goaltender Abbie Ives will wear the "A" ahead of her senior campaign in the net for the Bobcats. She recorded a .924 save percentage, 1.89 goals against average and six shutouts through 2004:34 minutes of play last season. Konigson had three assists in her sophomore campaign.
All four leaders will be major components of the Bobcats' defense this year, bringing experience and grit on both sides of the puck.
