Golf Announces 2019-20 Fall Schedule

Head Coach John O'Connor Releases Fall Slate
HAMDEN, Connecticut – Quinnipiac women's golf coach John O'Connor has announced the Bobcats' schedule for the Fall 2019 schedule. Quinnipiac will compete in five tournaments in the Fall, in preparation for the Spring slate that culminates with the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship on Apr. 24-26.
Like the 2018 season, the Bobcats will compete at the Dartmouth Invitational, Boston College Intercollegiate, and Yale Invitational. New to this season's schedule is a match play event against St. John's and the Lehigh Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa.
"We have a very competitive schedule in the Fall," said O'Connor, "and we'll be competing against many of our Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference opponents throughout the season. It's expected to be an outstanding Fall season with some great recruits coming in, so we look forward to the Fall season.
DARTMOUTH INVITATIONAL
September 13-15
Hanover Country Club
Hanover, New Hampshire
Last Time at Dartmouth: September 15-16, 2018 - 6th place of 15 teams - The team kicked off 2018 with a sixth-place finish at the Dartmouth Invitational. The Bobcats had all six golfers land at least one round in the 70s throughout the two-day tournament and four golfers scored 70s in both rounds.
Coach O'Connor on Dartmouth: "Dartmouth has always been a favorite of mine and the team always enjoys competing at the Hanover Country Club. The course is always in good condition and offers a great challenge to golfers at this high level. We've had great success at Hanover."
BOSTON COLLEGE INTERCOLLEGIATE

Last Time at Boston College: September 24-25, 2018 - T-8th place of 16 teams - The Bobcats completed play at the Boston College Intercollegiate with a +72 score and a eighth-place finish out of 16 teams. On the second day of play, Julia Kemmling (Berlin, Connecticut) led the way with a +4 (76) in the final round.
YALE INVITATIONAL
October 3-6
The Course at Yale
New Haven, Connecticut
Last Time at Yale: October 5-7, 2018 - 10th place of 17 teams - Quinnpiac had four different golfers shoot in the 70s on Sunday in the final round of the Yale Women's Fall Intercollegiate. The Bobcats' finished 10th out of 17 teams with a final score of 926 (+74). After the final round concluded, Quinnipiac honored its two seniors, Julia Kemmling (Berlin, Connecticut) and Luciana Tobia-Palza (La Paz, Bolivia), in a senior day celebration.
O'Connor on Boston College and Yale: We look forward to competing at both Boston College and Yale as they offer good challenges and many of the top-ranked teams will be competing.

Last Time vs. St. John's: The Bobcats and Johnnies competed at four tournaments together last season at Georgetown, Brown, Yale, and Boston College. Quinnipiac bested St. John's in three of the four events, with St. John's outpacing the Bobcats by five strokes at Georgetown.
O'Connor on St. John's Match Play: We've added a match play event this Fall against a great Big East opponent, St. John's at the oldest golf course in the country, Saint Andrew's.
LEHIGH INVITATIONAL
October 20-22
Saucon Valley Country Club
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Last Time vs. Lehigh: Despite the Lehigh Invitational being a new event, the Bobcats and Mountain Hawks competed in three of the same tournaments last season at Brown, Georgtown, and Kiawah Island. Quinnipiac got the better of Lehigh at all three events by a combined 48 strokes overall.
O'Connor on Lehigh: We conclude the Fall season in a new tournament that Lehigh is hosting at Saucon Valley in Bethelem, Pa. The golf course is a very highly-rated course and we expect to see some challenging conditions against some very good teams.
