FINAL ROUND RECAP
- Tobia was spectacular for most of her final round of collegiate competition, playing her first eight holes at -2, with two birdies and six pars. The senior played her back nine in 39 (+3), adding a birdie on the fifth hole, giving her six for the tournament. Her score of +2 for the round left her at +14 for the weekend, which was four strokes off the lead and good for a third place finish.
- Tobia played the par 3's at even-par for the weekend, tied for the best score on par 3's of all golfers in the field.
- Sazhin matched Tobia's output through the first eight holes, but a miscue on the 18th left her at +1 heading to her back nine. She played the last nine holes of the day at just +1, including a birdie on the ninth to end her tournament in a tie for sixth overall.
- Lai, the outright leader after two rounds, struggled from the start of the day. The standout sophomore was +11 after her first nine holes, but improved down the stretch as she played her final nine at +5. She, Tobia, and Sazhin were three of eight golfers in the tournament with 32 or more pars on the weekend.
- Elena Lopez and Elena Ybarra posted matching 84s (+12), both improving slightly from their second round totals. Ybarra had eight pars on Saturday, while Lopez posted seven.
- As a team, the Bobcats played the par 3's in an average of 3.32 strokes per hole, better than all other teams in the competition.
- The Bobcats will return all players from this year's roster, aside from Luciana Tobia, who graduates as the program's all-time career leader with 145 birdies in four years.
