
Five Men's Ice Hockey Players Named to All-ECAC Hockey Teams

Priskie, Shortridge Headline Bobcats Quintet of Players Honored by League Office
ALBANY, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team had five players named to the ECAC Hockey All-League Teams, as announced by the league office on Monday, March 18.
Chase Priskie (Pembroke Pines, Florida) and Andrew Shortridge (Anchorage, Alaska) were each named to the First Team and Odeen Tufto (Chaska, Minnesota) was named to the Second Team. Peter DiLiberatore (Bedford, Nova Scotia) and Wyatt Bongiovanni (Birmingham, Michigan) were also named to the All-Rookie Team.
Priskie and Shortridge are just the fifth and sixth players to be named to the All-ECAC Hockey First Team following Reid Cashman '07 in 2005-06 and 2006-07, Eric Hartzell '13 in 2012-13, Matthew Peca '15 in 2014-15 and Sam Anas '17 in 2015-16.
All-time, Quinnipiac has had 29 all-league selections since joining the league for the 2005-06 season. At least one Quinnipiac player has been named All-ECAC Hockey in seven straight seasons since the 2012-13 season.
Throughout his four seasons, Priskie has moved up on each team from the All-Rookie team as a freshman to Third Team in 2016-17, Second Team in 2017-18 and now First Team in 2018-19. He led all defenseman in the nation in the regular season with 17 goals and was second among defenseman nationally and fourth overall in the league. Priskie also led the nation with 10 power-play goals and 23 power-play points.
Shortridge is Quinnipiac's second All-ECAC Hockey First Team and first since Hartzell in 2012-13. Shortridge led the nation in 2018-19 with a 1.39 GAA and .944 save percentage during league play and was first in ECAC Hockey with a .783 winning percentage. Shortridge also had 17 wins in the regular season, which ranked second in ECAC Hockey.
Tufto was among the most prolific scorers in the nation as he recorded 42 points to give him two straight 40-point seasons. He led all of ECAC Hockey with 42 points and was third in the nation for the regular season. Tufto also had 28 points in league play, averaging 1.27 points per game.
Bongiovanni led all ECAC Hockey rookies with 14 goals in the 2018-19 regular season and was the leading scorer in league play with nine goals, including six on the power-play. He was the only rookie to record a hat trick this season and he totaled 23 points to tie for third among ECAC Hockey rookies.
DiLiberatore was among the best freshmen defensemen in ECAC Hockey as he ranked second in league play with 10 assists and 12 points while his 14 assists overall were first. DiLiberatore had a +21 plus/minus rating during the regular season which led all ECAC Hockey freshmen.
The Bobcats await selection in the 2019 NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Tournament with Selection Show set for Sunday night at 7 p.m.
