HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball fell in conference action, 81-77, vs. Iona on Tuesday night in Hamden.

With the loss, the Bobcats fall to 14-12 (9-6 MAAC) so far in 2018-19. Cameron Young led the way with 30 total points, and Rich Kelly added 18 points, four assists and two rebounds.

Quinnipiac shot 26-of-71 (36.6 percent) from three-point distance , going 17-for-49 from 3-point distance.
Young's 30 points came on 10-of-21 shooting. He added four rebounds and three assists. He has now tallied double-digit point totals in 25 of 26 games this year.
Rich Kelly recorded 18 points, four assists and two rebounds – going 6-for-10 from 3-point range. Kelly had 10+ points in three of the last four points.
Freshman Tyrese Williams added nine points and eight rebounds, Kevin Marfo scored eight points and 10 rebounds, and Jacob Rigoni tallied eight points and six rebounds.
Iona outrebounded Quinnipiac 45-39.
The Bobcats held Iona to 26.8 percent from 3-point distance (8-for-24).
Quinnipiac's bench outscored Iona 11-2.
