HAMDEN, Conn. – Rich Kelly recorded 36 total points on Saturday afternoon at the People's United Center, leading Quinnipiac men's basketball past New Hampshire by the final score of 75-67. The Bobcats move to 3-1 at home this season with the victory.

Kelly shot 13-of-18 from the floor, going 5-for-6 from three-point distance. He scored 28 points in the second half of action on 10-of-12 shooting.

The Bobcats shot a season-best 55.6 percent (25-for-45) from the floor, knocking down 8-of-17 shots from three-point range.
Quinnipiac outscored UNH 30-20 in the paint, and the Bobcats' bench held a 12-4 advantage.
Quinnipiac shot 10-of-20 (50.0 percent) from the floor in the first half, going 4-for-7 (57.1 percent) from three-point range.
The Bobcats then opened up the second half on a 15-5 run over a 3:36 span to extend the lead. Rich Kelly recorded 11 of Quinnipiac's 15 points, including three shots from distance.
Kelly's 36 points are the second-highest total of his career, as the junior dropped 40 points at Fairfield on Feb. 17, 2018. He added two assists and two rebounds over 35:12, and was a +8 on the floor.
Kevin Marfo scored seven points and grabbed 12 more rebounds, and is now averaging 12.7 boards per contest in 2019-20 (No. 3 nationally).
Tyrese Williams and Aaron Falzon both added seven points, and Seth Pinkney and Jacob Rigoni each chipped in with six points.
With the win, QU improves to 3-2 all-time against New Hampshire.
Quinnipiac led for 22:03, and the Bobcats' largest lead was 12 points (15:50, second half).
