Bobcats Finish Non-Conference Schedule With Comeback Win in Atlantic City
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Quinnipiac men's basketball outscored Bowling Green 36-25 in the second half, closing out the 2019-20 non-conference schedule with a 69-64 win on Saturday afternoon at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.
The Bobcats move to 5-5 heading into MAAC play in January with the victory. Quinnipiac locked down defensively in the second half of action, forcing the Falcons to shoot just 8-of-42 (19.0 percent) from the floor.

- Kevin Marfo recorded his fifth double-double of the year, posting 12 points and 14 rebounds. Marfo knocked down 10 free throws in the win.
- Tyrese Williams (4-for-6) added 12 points, and Rich Kelly had 10 points and three assists.
- First-year guard Brendan McGuire set career highs in both minutes (31) and assists (7).
- Quinnipiac led for 6:18 during the game. The Bobcats are now 1-0 all-time vs. Bowling Green, as Saturday's matchup at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall was the first-ever between the two teams.
- Both rebounds (44-44) and assists (16-16) were even for the two teams. The Bobcats set a season-high in rebounds in the victory.
- Quinnipiac also set a season-best mark in blocked shots (6) and free throw attempts (24).
