Lai Kicks Off Fall Season with Golfer of the Month Honor

Junior Wins Monthly Award after Two Top-15 Finishes
EDISON, New Jersey - Quinnipiac junior Queenie Lai (Hong Kong, China) was named the September Golfer of the Month by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, as announced by the league offices on Wednesday.
Lai earned two top-15 finishes in the month of September, placing T12 at the Boston College Intercollegiate and T14 at the Dartmouth Invitational. The junior shot final rounds of 71 and 72 at the two tournaments, leading her Quinnipiac team to two of the five lowest scores in program history and the lowest 54-hole score in program history.
At Boston College, Lai recorded her 99th career birdie and is on pace to become the fourth Bobcat in program history to record 100 birdies in a Bobcat uniform.
Lai and the Bobcats return to action this weekend at the Yale Invitational with three rounds spanning Friday-Sunday at The Course at Yale in New Haven, Conn.
