Scott Earns Second MAAC Rookie of the Week Honors

The Ontario native receives her second weekly award this season
HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac women's soccer freshman midfielder Olivia Scott was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week for the second time this season for her play from Oct. 6-13.
Scott was an integral part of the Bobcats' offense in two games last week against Fairfield and Niagara. The freshman midfielder scored the Bobcats' third goal in a 3-0 shutout victory against the Stags. She also scored the second Quinnipiac goal in the 43rd minute of a second 3-0 shutout win against the Purple Eagles. She now leads the team with nine points on three goals and three assists.
Quinnipiac moved up in the MAAC standings to the fifth spot after two straight wins last week. The Bobcats are now 7-6 overall with a 3-3 conference record.
The Bobcats will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 16 to take on the Saint Peter's Peacocks in Jersey City, N.J. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
