Clara Lemal-Brown Scores Four Tries in Road Loss
HANOVER, N.H. – Quinnipiac sophomore Clara Lemal-Brown scored four tries in Saturday's contest, but the Quinnipiac rugby team dropped its final road game of the regular season, 52-38, to Dartmouth.
Senior Mikah Maples and junior Destiny Henry added a try each for the Bobcats in the loss. Sophomores Allison Koenig and Mckenna Haz combined for four successful conversions, with Haz earning the first three and Koenig finishing hers in the second half.

After Dartmouth jumped out to an early 14-0 lead, Lemal-Brown scored her first try of the game off of a nice dish by Mckenna Haz. Dartmouth quickly responded with a try five minutes later, only to see Lemal-Brown take off for a near 70-yard run that cut the deficit back to seven.
The Big Green scored twice to end the first half and ended another in the opening few minutes of the second to open up a 40-12 lead. Lemal-Brown closed the gap slightly with her third try in the 50th minute, but Dartmouth tallied two more in the next nine minutes to put the game out of reach.
The Bobcats did not leave Hanover without a fight, scoring three consecutive tries in the final 13 minutes of action to finish the contest at 52-38.
SCORING SUMMARY
After the final bye week of the year, the Bobcats will wrap up the regular season on October 26th as Army West Point visits on senior day at the Quinnipiac Rugby Field.
