Head Coach John O'Connor: "We played pretty well today. The course was pretty tough, as you can tell by some of the scores. Even some of the best teams had high scores. But all in all, very proud of Lu (Tobia-Palza), Al (Sazhin) and Queenie, who all shot in the 70s. We have two more days, it's warm, it's nice to be out in the good weather, and we're looking forward to it tomorrow.
NOTES
Quinnipiac will play the second round of the Babs Steffens on Sunday, before concluding the three-day tournament with a shotgun start on Monday morning.
