JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Freshman Queenie Lai shot a 75 (+3), the low round for the Bobcats on either day, as the Quinnipiac women's golf team finished in third place out of nine teams at the two-day Benbow Invitational, hosted by Butler University at the Blue Sky Golf Club.
Head Coach John O'Connor: "We came in third today to two Big East teams. I'm pretty pleased with our performances. We were able to keep our stroke average per round at 308 total, so all in all this was a good event. We're going to practice for the next couple of days and hopefully pick up where we left off up in Hilton Head (at he Low Country Intercollegiate)."
