- Quinnipiac defeated Boston University, 5-2, Saturday evening for its second win of the season.
- the win was the Bobcats third-straight victory over Boston University.
- Freddie Zaretsky (Fair Lawn, New Jersey) was named the MAAC Male Tennis Player of the Week on February 14th after being a large part to the Bobcats' win over the Terriers.
- Zaretsky collected a win in No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-4 along with a victory in No. 1 Doubles 7-6 while paired with Austin Yannone (Severna Park, Maryland).
- Julian Rozenstein (Marlboro, New jersey) collected a victory in No. 1 Singles competition, defeating BU's Satyajit Simhadri, 7-5, 6-4.
- Rozenstein also picked up a victory while paired with Patrick Cachapero (Loma Linda, California) in No. 2 Doubles, defeating BU 7-5.
- Rozenstein started his senior campaign with a win the Flight "A" singles bracket at the UConn Invitational.
- Rozenstein and Zaretsky combined for a 6-4 record in doubles play in the fall portion of 2017-18.
- The duo also combined to win the Flight A Doubles bracket at the Quinnipiac Invitational as They collected four wins throughout the weekend.
- Kyle Alper (Dix Hills, New York) has five wins so far this season during singles play, including a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Marc Sable of BU Saturday in NO. 3 Singles.
- Yannone is 6-4 in his first 10 single matches of 2017-18.
- Yannone collected two victories at the Quinnipiac Invitational on his way to winning the Flight B Singles bracket.
- Hielke Moore (Fredericton, New Brunswick) has seven wins during singles play this season. And 5 more while paired with Yannone in doubles play.
- Moore started his Quinnipiac career with a four-win weekend at the UConn Invitational as he captured the Flight "C" Singles championship 6-0, 6-4.
- Alex Stern (Tustin, California) obtained seven victories in the fall, including when he collected three wins in the UConn Invitational and one at the Quinnipiac Invitational.
- Stern also struck for three victories in the Singles Draw 3B bracket at the CT State Championships.
- Quinnipiac was ranked third in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll as announced by the league office.
- Head coach Chris Pappas announced Rozenstein and Alper as the captains of the Quinnipiac men's tennis team for 2018.
