NORTH HAVEN, Connecticut - The Quinnipiac men's tennis team defeated Boston University, 5-2, Saturday evening. The Bobcats were led by three different players who had victories in singles and doubles play. With the win the Bobcats move to 2-2 on the season and the Terriers fall to 4-1 with the loss.

NOTES:

The loss was Boston University's first loss of the season.
This is Quinnipiac's third-straight victory over Boston University after the Bobcats defeated the Terriers, 4-3, in 2017 and 6-1 in 2016.
Julian Rozenstein (Marlboro, New Jersey), Patrick Cachapero (Loma Linda, California) and Freddie Zaretsky (Fair Lawn, New Jersey) all scored victories in singles and doubles play Saturday afternoon.
Rozenstein and Cachapero paired up to defeat Kolsky and Lu from Boston University, 7-5.
Rozenstein then captured a victory over Simhadri in singles play, 7-5, 6-4.
Cachapero had a singles victory of his own, a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Boston University's Bogatin.
Zaretsky teamed up with Austin Yannone (Severna Park, Maryland) for a hard-fought 7-6(4) victory over Boston University's Avila and Simhadri in a doubles matchup.
Zaretsky followed his victory in doubles play up with a singles victory over Lu, 6-2, 6-4.
Kyle Alper (Dix Hills, New York) struck for a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Sable.
