NEW HAVEN, Connecticut - The Quinnipiac women's tennis team dropped their first matchup of 2018 to Yale, 6-1. With the loss, the Bobcats move to 3-2 on the season. With the win, the Bulldogs move to 2-0 in their young season.

Scarlett Blydenburgh (Chatham, New Jersey) picked up her seventh victory of the season with a 6-1, 7-5 win Saturday afternoon. Blydenburgh also paired with Proyfon Lohophaisan (Santa Clarita, California) for a close matchup in doubles competition, falling 6-4 against Yale's duo of Yange and Swett.
Layla Rodriguez (Rancho Santa Margarita, California) fell in a close matchup against Yale's Amos 6-4, 7-5.
