HOLMDEL, New Jersey – Highlighted by three Bobcats placing in the Top 10 – Emily Wolff (2^nd), Kaleigh Roberts (3^rd) and Kaitlin Bakas (8^th) – the Quinnipiac women's cross country team managed a runner-up finish out of eight teams at the Monmouth Invitational from Holmdel Park on Saturday morning.

Quinnipiac accumulated 44 total team points, finishing behind Marist who won the event with 34 points
The course the Bobcats ran on this morning is the same course that will later play host to the 2017 MAAC Championships in late October
Top pairing of Emily Wolff (Highlands Ranch, Colorado) and Kaleigh Roberts (Higganum, Connecticut) finished back-to-back in the Bobcats' team leaderboard for the 16^th time in 17 career appearances the two have competed in together
Both Wolff (2^nd) and Roberts (3^rd) earned the highest overall finish in their respective careers
Wolff earned the fourth Top 5 result and seventh Top 10 finish in her career, Roberts picked up her second career Top 10 and seventh career Top 10 result while Bakas checked in with her third career Top 10
Songer (15^th) and Reid (16^th) showed well to give the Bobcats five runners within the Top 16 overall spots in the standings which featured 94 total runners

UPCOMING MEET
Quinnipiac will use another off week hoping to improve in the lead-up for the Paul Short Run on Friday, September 29 on the campus of Lehigh University.
