BACK TO WORK
The Quinnipiac men's tennis team is back in action for the first time since Feb. 19, as the Bobcats travel to take on the Hofstra University Pride at the Point Set Racquet Club in Oceanside, New York.
SCOUTING THE PRIDE
Hofstra owns a 3-7 record and having not played a dual match in the Colonial Athletic Association yet. The Pride have lost their last three contests but have earned wins over Loyola University, Siena and Sacred Heart.
KEI COUNTER
Ezaka comes into the matchup with 129 career wins which is third all-time on the program's wins list. Ezaka is two wins away from tying Eric Ambrosio '15 for second on the program all-time wins list and is eight wins away from tying John Hughes '10 program-record of 137 wins.
MAAC MANIA
In the Bobcats' three MAAC dual matches, they have gone 27-0 in competition. The team has posted a 18-0 record in singles play against MAAC opponents and 9-0 in doubles competition.
ALL GOOD FROM SPOT 2
The Bobcats have also had major success from the No. 2 spot in doubles matches, going 6-3 in the draw as well.
RACE TO 10
Ezaka leads the Bobcats with 10 singles wins, but Quinnipiac has six players that are four or less singles wins away from 10 on the season. Axel Stern (Tustin, California) and Julian Rozenstein (Marlboro, New Jersey) have nine wins apiece. Austin Yannone (Severna Park, Maryland), Freddie Zaretsky (Fair Lawn, New Jersey) have eight wins, while Patrick Cachapero (Loma Linda, California) has seven wins and Jackson Koke (Calgary, Alberta) has six.
LUCKY NO. 2
No matter if it is a singles or doubles match, Rozenstein is undefeated (3-0) in matches where he is competing in the No. 2 draw.
THREE IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
Stern has had the same success, because in matches where he is in the No. 3 draw, he is undefeated (3-0) as well.

Following the weekend match against Hofstra, the Bobcats will be back in action on Wednesday, March 22, when the team hosts Fairleigh Dickinson at 3 p.m. at the Quinnipiac Tennis Courts.
