QU Women's Rugby Senior Day To Be Held At Southington High School On Saturday, Oct. 29

Quinnipiac women's rugby head coach Becky Carlson has announced that the Bobcats' 2016 Senior Day Game against American International College will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. at Southington High School. A free live video stream will be available for the game on QuinnipiacBobcats.com.
Prior to the start of the Bobcats' tilt against American International, Quinnipiac Athletics will recognize and honor the careers of Abby Cook, Madison Gegeckas, Maggie Myles, Tayler Schussler, Lindey Wise, Rachel Wrinn and Hailey Wyatt.

Quinnipiac is currently 5-1 as it heads into its final game of the National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) regular season against the Yellow Jackets. The Bobcats opened the season with a 32-19 win against Army West Point before rattling off victories against American International (44-0), Norwich (64-3), Notre Dame College (30-5) and Brown (77-7).
Following its regular-season finale against AIC, the Bobcats will prepare to defend their 2015 NIRA National Championship when the 2016 NIRA Tournament commences on Nov. 12. Army West Point will host the NIRA Semifinals on Nov. 18 followed by the Championship Game on Nov. 20.
