
QU Women's Golf Completes First Round Of Yale Women's Intercollegiate

Quinnipiac women's golf sophomore Nicole Scola (Westerly, Rhode Island)was the Bobcats' top finisher once-again, finishing in 46th place out of 88 golfers at the 2014 Yale Women's Intercollegiate at The Course at Yale in New Haven, Conn.
Scola finished the first round of the 54-hole tournament with a +9, 80. Finishing a stroke behind Scola was freshman Estefania Morales (Caracas, Venezuela). Morales carded a +10, 81 for a tie of 56th place.

Behind the Bobcats' top two were sophomore Emily Ribbins (Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands) with a +16, 87 for a tie of 83rd place. Alexa Gentile (Avon, Connecticut) finished with a 90 (+19) for a tie of 87th place while Angelica Muscatelli (North Providence, Rhode Island) was 88th at 98 (+27).
Quinnipiac returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 27 for the second round of the Yale Women's Intercollegiate at 9 a.m. The final 18 holes of the three-day tournament will commence on Sunday, Sept. 28.
