
Women's Tennis Falls At Brown, 7-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. The Quinnipiac University women's tennis team was defeated by Brown, 7-0, Saturday afternoon. Adrienne Markison (Princeton, N.J.) put up the best fight in singles play, winning the first set of her match against Sara Mansur, before falling, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. With the loss, the Bobcats fall to 2-3, while the Bears improve to 7-2.
Seniors Nicole Adams (New Windsor, N.Y.) and Kasey Rosenberger (Pittsford, N.Y.) nearly won their No. 3 doubles match, but fell, 8-7 (3).
The Bobcats return to action Friday, when they travel to Hanover, N.H., to take on Dartmouth. Matches are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
