Jen Fay enters her fifth season as part of Tricia Fabbri's bench in 2023-24. Fay joined the Quinnipiac women's basketball staff as a graduate assistant coach for the 2019-20 campaign before being elevated to an assistant coach prior to the 2020-21 season. Fay earned the title of Recruiting Coordinator prior to the start of the 2023-24 season.
In her five-year Quinnipiac career, Fay was one of the most decorated players in MAAC History, as she was a five-time MAAC Regular Season Champion and four-time MAAC Tournament Champion. Fay also helped lead the Bobcats to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Sweet 16 Appearance in 2016-17 and the Bobcats won three NCAA Tournament games in her time with the program.
Individually, Fay was a three-time All-MAAC selection, including her spot on the First Team in 2017-18, as well as a two-time MAAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player. Fay also stood out in the classroom as a four-time MAAC All-Academic Team pick.
She ranks 16th in program history and 10th in Division I program history with 1,277 points and is eighth in program history with 146 three-point field goals. She has also played in 133 games in her career, just two behind Aryn McClure '19 and Adily Martucci '17 for the most in program history.
Fay averaged over 10 points per game in each of her final three seasons with the Bobcats, leading Quinnipiac in scoring from 2016-19. Her best season came in 2017-18 when she was named to the All-MAAC First Team when she averaged a team-leading 13.3 points per game, 6.7 rebounds per game and 2.2 assists per game as she started all 34 games.
As a senior in 2018-19, Fay averaged 12.5 points per game and a career-high 6.8 rebounds per game to lead the Bobcats, as well as a career-high 2.7 assists per game.
Fay graduated from Quinnipiac with her Bachelor of Arts in History in May 2018 and completed her Masters of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Education in May 2020.
