Tianga is a four-time selection to the NCATA Honor Roll and is a 2023 NCATA Event Final National Champion in the inversion pyramid, coming back to Hamden after two years as an assistant coach at Long Island University.
"I'm really excited about this opportunity to return to Quinnipiac and join the coaching staff alongside Mary Ann Powers, Tiffany Zieba and Melanie Mancini," Tianga said. "It feels like a dream come true. I've always considered Quinnipiac my home, and I felt a strong pull to come back. The incredible support, guidance, and the people here have made me feel welcomed and valued."
The Deer Park, N.Y., native joined the Bobcats for four years from the 2020-2023 seasons, culminating her career with the individual event title in 2023, a day in which the Bobcats secured four Event Finals trophies.
"I'm grateful to QU for welcoming me back with open arms. I'm a Bobcat for life!" Tianga added.
Quinnipiac is coming off a pair of individual event finals titles and a trip to the NCATA semifinals during the 2025 campaign. The squad also featured a pair of All-Americans and an NCATA All-Academic selection.
