Nick Simeone joined the Quinnipiac Athletics staff as Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Fan Engagement in January of 2026.
He directs the fan experience at Quinnipiac, overseeing game presentation, in-venue entertainment, and promotional planning. Simeone serves as a supervisor to QU Athletics’ spirit squads (cheer, dance, pep band and Boomer) and supports their integration into gameday environments. He also runs the Athletics Marketing Instagram account (@qu_athleticsmkt).
Prior to taking his role with the Bobcats, Simeone joined the Bryant University athletics staff in August 2022 and served as the Director of Marketing. In this role, he oversaw marketing initiatives and fan engagement strategies for all 25 of the Bulldogs' Division I varsity programs, with a primary focus on football and men’s basketball.
At Bryant, he was responsible for the comprehensive in-arena experience, managing video board content, PA scripts, and game-day rundowns. His work focused on elevating the fan experience through the execution of theme nights, in-game promotions, and community events. Additionally, he led a team of over 10 interns to support game-day operations and outreach efforts.
Beyond game-day execution, Simeone coordinated closely with ticketing, operations, and communications departments to manage event logistics and sponsor activations at Bryant. He also utilized data-driven insights to deliver campaign recaps that inform future marketing strategies.
Prior to Bryant, Simeone gained experience as an Athletics Marketing Intern at the University of Rhode Island. He also completed a marketing internship with RDW Group, where he developed a comprehensive marketing plan for the Cape Cod Baseball League based on demographic research and social media audits.
A native of Bristol, Rhode Island, Simeone earned his MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics from Bryant University in 2025. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing with a minor in Sports Media from the University of Rhode Island.
