Quinnipiac softball head coach Hillary Smith has announced the addition of alum Hannah Davis to the coaching staff as an assistant coach. Davis is entering her first season as assistant coach in 2026.
Davis was a member of the Quinnipiac softball program from 2018–2024. During her playing career, Davis competed primarily as a catcher and first baseman, with additional experience in the outfield.
She was a four-year Dean’s List honoree and MAAC Scholar-Athlete and served two years on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and QCORE Committee, contributing to student-athlete development and community outreach initiatives.
Originally from Foxborough, Massachusetts, Davis is excited to return to Quinnipiac as a coach and work alongside the coaching staff to give back to the program that shaped her both on and off the field.
“Returning to Quinnipiac in a coaching role fulfills a long-standing goal, as the university and softball program have remained home throughout my academic and athletic journey. I am committed to giving back to the program that shaped me and to supporting the continued growth and success of this program.” Davis said.
Davis earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management and Organizational Leadership.
