Cronin joined the Quinnipiac Athletics department in January of 2026 as Assistant Director of Ticket Operations.
Cronin comes to Hamden after a successful tenure at Fairfield University with PlayFly Aspire, where he served as a Senior Consultant for Sales and Service from 2022 to 2025. During his time with the Stags, Cronin excelled in account management and customer retention, personally managing a portfolio of over 800 season ticket holders and maintaining an impressive 90% renewal rate. He was instrumental in building robust sales pipelines across premium, season, flex, and group packages for soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. Beyond sales, Cronin was a vital component of the gameday environment, managing VIP experiences, box office logistics, and utilizing industry-standard Paciolan software to streamline ticketing operations.
This role marks a return to Quinnipiac for Cronin, who previously gained valuable experience as a Ticket Operations Intern for the Bobcats in 2018. During his initial stint in Hamden, he assisted with frontline customer service for high-energy hockey and basketball gamedays, coordinated group acquisitions, and helped launch successful themed events like Paw Patrol Day and College Experience Day.
A Connecticut native residing in Milford, Cronin brings expertise in relationship building, event management, and conflict resolution to the department, ensuring Bobcats fans receive a first-class experience every time they enter a Quinnipiac venue.
