Olivia Kibrick joined the Bobcats as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in January of 2023.
Kibrick is responsible for program design and athletic performance development for Quinnipiac’s volleyball, softball, rugby, men’s cross country, women’s cross country, and track and field programs.
In May of 2023, she received her Masters in Exercise and Sport Science from Sacred Heart University.
Kibrick joins us from Sacred Heart University, where she spent a year and a half as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach. At Sacred Heart, she worked primarily with women’s soccer, equestrian, women’s rowing, men’s and women’s cross country, women’s swim and dive, as well as assisting with football and women’s basketball.
Prior to her time at Sacred Heart, Kibrick worked as a strength and conditioning coach at two private facilities, Top Form Fitness and 21 BOOM, in her hometown of Albany, NY. At one of these stops, she worked as the strength and conditioning coach for the Bethlehem High School Eagles in their 2021 winter offseason.
Following her undergraduate years at Ithaca College, Kibrick spent the 2019-2020 school year as an intern strength and conditioning coach at the University of Albany. She worked directly with the staff, conducted warmups, and assisted with the training sessions for all varsity teams.
Kibrick graduated Ithaca College in May 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. She also received a minor in Exercise and Sport Psychology.
During the spring of her senior year, Kibrick spent five months as an intern strength and conditioning coach at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She assisted with all varsity teams, analyzed sport science data, and worked closely in assisting athletes recovering from ACL injuries.
At Ithaca College, she worked to design training programs for all populations and the Wellness Clinic for faculty and staff and Ithaca. During her senior fall, she interned with the varsity football team and worked directly with the head strength coach.
Kibrick is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach, and is Reflexive Performance Reset Level 1 certified.
