As a Sophomore in 2015-16:
Appeared in 29 games, including two starts ... Averaged 5.0 points per game, to go along with 2.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists ... MAAC All-Academic team selection ... Came up with a key steal in the final minute with Quinnipac up by two in a 64-59 win at Fairfield (2/1) ... Had seven points and five assists in a win over Niagara (1/30) ... Tied for team-high honors with 11 points against Monmouth (1/26) ... Had a season-high 15 points against Canisius (1/17) ... Tallied nine points on 4-8 shooting at Monmouth (1/9) ... Matched his season high with 12 points in a win over Rider (1/4) ... First had 12 points in an overtime loss at Maine (12/29), including a three-pointer to start the overtime scoring ... Scored eight points, including two three-pointers at Oregon State (12/21) ... Had six points on 2-2 shooting from three-point range and five rebounds in a two-point win at Hartford (12/9) ... Appeared in 26 games for the Bobcats, including 17 starts ... Averaged 4.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per game .. Knocked down 30 three-pointers on the year ... Scored a season-high 16 points against Iona, including four three-pointers, while dishing out eight assists (1/6) ... Moved into the starting lineup after the Iona game, where he remained the rest of the season ... Had 15 points on 5-8 shooting in a win over Marist (1/11) ... Hit two three-pointers in a 72-71 win over Marist in the rematch one week later (1/18) ... Knocked down three three-pointers in a win over Niagara (2/8) ... Scored nine points in a narrow three-point loss to Iona (2/15) ... Had six straight games with at least four assists, beginning with Manhattan (1/23) and continuing through Fairfield (2/13) ... Had a season-high of six rebounds twice, includinig a 73-63 win over Siena (2/27).
Prior to Quinnipiac:
Hutton came to Quinnipiac from Cape Henry Collegiate School where he enjoyed a successful career on a talented team … Over his last three years, Hutton and the team amassed an 80-10 record while ranking among the top 10 in the state during the span … In his final season, Hutton helped the team to a 29-4 record which was good enough for third in the state of Virginia … Named First Team All-Conference after leading the Dolphins to a TCIS Championship … In addition to his experience at Cape Henry, Hutton played in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League under the direction of Boo Williams.
