Patrick O’Neill completed his second year at Quinnipiac University as a volunteer assistant coach in 2021.
O’Neill was an outstanding pitcher at Eastern Connecticut State University, earning first-team All-Little East honors in 2014 after going 5-1 with a 2.77 ERA. He appeared in 40 games, including starting 22 with an exceptional 1.86 walks-per-nine rate.
Before coming to Quinnipiac, O’Neill was the recruiting coordinator and pitching coach at Wesleyan University. In the summers of 2018 and 2019, O’Neill was an assistant coach for the Danbury Westerners in the NECBL. He also pitched for the Westerners in 2015, leading the team in ERA and saves.
O’Neill graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2016, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education.
