Appeared in 38 games … Selected to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team … Finished the season with 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) to go along with 42 shots-on-goal, +1 plus/minus rating and just eight penalty minutes … Pieper was the lone Bobcat freshman to finish with a positive plus/minus rating for the season … Also ranked second among all Quinnipiac freshmen in points and assists while ranking fourth in goals … Opened the season with points in back-to-back games starting with his first career goal in a 5-3 win over Bentley on Oct. 11 … Tallied his first career assist on Oct. 17 at UMass Lowell … Picked up one assist in a 4-3 win over Northeastern on Nov. 2 … Landed one assist against UMass on Nov. 28 … Opened up a season-long three-game point streak starting on Dec. 5 as he assisted on the overtime game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over Dartmouth … Continued the streak with one assist against Harvard on Dec. 6 and finished it off with one goal in a 2-0 win over Princeton on Dec. 27 … Scored one goal in a 4-3 win over Union on Jan. 10 … Assisted on an overtime game-winning goal in a 1-0 road win at Cornell on Feb. 6 … Tallied one assist in a 4-2 win at Colgate on Feb. 7 … Assisted on the game-tying goal in an eventual 2-2 tie against Brown on Feb. 21 … Picked up one assist in Game Two of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals against Union on March 14 … Chipped in one assist in the NCAA West Regional against North Dakota on March 27.

Most recently played for the Coquitlam Express in the BCHL and tallied 59 points (27 goals, 32 assists) in 58 games for the season … Also averaged just under one point per game as he scored 17 points (11 goals, six assists) in 19 postseason games, leading the Express to the BCHL Championship … Before his time at Coquitlam, Pieper played two seasons in the USHL first with the Chicago Steel in 2011-12 and then with the Indiana Ice in 2012-13 … Scored 28 points (nine goals, 19 assists) in two full seasons playing in the USHL … Started at the prep school level for Shattuck St. Mary’s as he finished with 55 points (22 goals, 33 assists) in 50 games playing for the U-16 team during the 2010-11 season … In his first year at Shattuck, Pieper played for the Midget AA team and the way with a 114-point season in 2009-10.
