Coaches Road Show at Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ Kicks Off Ice Hockey & Basketball Seasons

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac University Athletics hosted its third annual Coaches' Road Show on Tuesday night at Bear's Smokehouse BBQ in New Haven.
The Bobcats helped kick off the 2026-27 ice hockey & basketball seasons in front of QU fans, enjoying delicious food provided by our partners at Bear's Smokehouse BBQ.
The evening included a panel discussion featuring Senior Associate AD Bill Mecca and Quinnipiac's head coaches Rand Pecknold (Men's Ice Hockey HC), Cassandra Turner (Women's Ice Hockey HC), Tom Pecora (Men's Basketball HC) and Roman Owen (Women's Basketball HC).
