Van Keulen Nets Lone Goal in Loss to Bucknell

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Quinnipiac field hockey team came up short in a 2-1 battle with Bucknell on Friday night.
The Bison opened the scoring early in the second quarter, converting on a penalty corner to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Rozemarijn Van Keulen wasted no time in the second half, scoring just 29 seconds into the third quarter for her first goal of the season.
Bucknell regained the lead later in the quarter on a breakaway goal and held on for the 2-1 victory.
Goalkeeper Meike van Schoot made five saves for the Bobcats, bringing her season total to 15.
