Igarta ‘21 Rejoins Bobcats as Assistant Coach

HAMDEN, Conn. – Head coach Nina Klein announced the return of former student-athlete Kaylah Igarta '21 to the Bobcat program as an assistant coach for the upcoming 2026 season.
"We are so excited to welcome Kaylah back to Bobcat Nation! She was a tremendous teammate and student-athlete during her time at Quinnipiac, and we know she will bring that same energy and commitment back to our program," Klein said. "Kaylah will play an important role in elevating the daily student-athlete experience while bringing her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for Quinnipiac to everything she does. We are thrilled to have her back."
The Middletown, N.J., native played for the Bobcats from 2017-2021, appearing in six career games and earning BIG EAST All-Academic Team honors in 2019.
Igarta graduated from Quinnipiac with a bachelor of science in health sciences and a double minor in biomedical sciences and psychology.
