Quinnipiac Defeats Stonehill in Four Sets

Baltimore, M.D. – The Quinnipiac women's volleyball program closed out play at the Towson-Morgan State Invitational with a win over Stonehill, three sets to one, on Saturday morning in Baltimore.
Quinnipiac took the opening set from the Skyhawks, 25-18. The Bobcats scored the first five points of the match and didn't look back as they led the entirety of the opening set.
After Stonehill took the second set, 27-25, the Bobcats bounced right back with a 27-25 win of their own in the third set. Quinnipiac was down six late in the third set but came all the way back to take the third frame from Stonehill.
Stonehill led the Bobcats 17-13 in the fourth set, but allowed Quinnipiac back in it as they tied the set at 22. With the final six points in the set going to the Bobcats, QU closed out the set and match for their second win of the year.

- Elena Giacomini led the Bobcats with 21 kills in the win over Stonehill. Giacomini finished the day with nine digs, one assist, and one service ace.
- Yagmur Gunes reached double digits in kills once again as she recorded 16 kills.
- First-years Asia Belli and Vittoria Tonelli each recorded nine kills in the win.
- Klara Olszewska led the team with 24 assists, and Damla Gunes finished the match with 23 assists.
- Sahra Ozbiltekin led the squad with 23 digs.
- Six Bobcats recorded a service ace in the Invitational finale.
