Men's Soccer Picked Fourth in MAAC Preseason Poll

EDISON, N.J. — The Quinnipiac men's soccer team was selected to finish fourth in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, the league announced on Wednesday morning.
In the annual polling of the league's coaches, the Bobcats were picked to finish in the same spot they did a season ago. QU won its last three games of the 2024 regular season to clinch the final spot in the top four and hosted Marist.
Iona was selected as the preseason favorite, receiving eight of the 13 votes. Rider and Siena rounded out the top three, with each receiving one vote.
QU returns 18 players from a season ago, returning their second leading scorer William Holum (3 goals, 3 assists).
The Bobcats open their season next Thursday, Aug. 21 at preseason No. 7 ranked Pitt. The game will kick off at 8:00 PM.
