WEST WINDSOR, NJ - Quinnipiac Men's Tennis won its second consecutive MAAC championship on Sunday at Mercer County Tennis Center, as the Bobcats downed Rider 4-1 in the title match to earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Elias Hoxha won the clincher for QU at #4 singles, coming back from a set down to help the Bobcats win a second MAAC title under Head Coach Bryan Adinolfi.

Quinnipiac took the doubles point after James Lorenzetti / Daniel Velek (#2 Doubles) and Alex Yang / Elias Hoxha (#3 Doubles) both won their respective matchups.

Velek won in straight sets at #1 singles, Carlos Braun Simo earned a convincing win at #3 singles, then Hoxha clinched the championship for Quinnipiac.

STATS & NOTES

QU has now won back-to-back MAAC Championships for the first time in program history.
Elias Hoxha finished 10-0 in singles against MAAC opponents, the best record on QU.
He was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Performer after going 4-0 between singles and doubles with teammate Alex Yang.
QU is 21-4 against MAAC opponents since Bryan Adolfi was named head coach in 2022.
The Bobcats also move to 10-0 against the MAAC this season, their best record in program history and get back above the .500 mark, improving to 12-11.
Daniel Velek and James Lorenzetti won their 10th match as a doubles team, clinching the doubles point.
Velek's singles career in the MAAC ends with a 14-3 singles record.
