HAMDEN, Conn. – In honor and celebration of our Quinnipiac pride, we've created the Blue & Gold Society! Through engagement and philanthropy, the Blue & Gold Society provides the best resources for our student-athletes to compete at the championship level on the field/court/ice and in the classroom. Women's Hockey has led the charge! Hear from some of our former players and members of the team about what the Blue & Gold Society means to them!
"While there's something to be said for being an inaugural women's ice hockey member, the reason I began donating (before there even was the Blue & Gold Society) was because I could see what Cass was doing with and for the program. She's been the glue keeping alumni tied to the program, consistently reaching out to everyone (who do you know who still gets texts from a current coach when you last played for QU in 2004?!), and keeping us involved. So, while I'm proud to be a member of the inaugural team and grateful that my career allows me to be supportive of the program in a way that's beneficial, the support would not have even begun if it had not been for Cass."

"Our Blue & Gold Society is a cornerstone of our program's success. With 15 dedicated members who contribute annually, their support directly impacts our ability to provide premium student-athlete experiences and consistently compete in the top 10 in the country. These alumnae not only contribute financially but also help foster a sense of community and pride in how special it is to be a Bobcat. Their commitment is prominently displayed on our locker room wall, honoring their role in shaping the future of our program. As we work to grow this group, we continue to see the transformative power of alumni support—it's invaluable in helping us recruit, develop, and compete at the highest level."
– Cassandra Turner Women's Ice Hockey Head Coach
"I gave back because I truly loved playing for QU & being part of a great group of ladies. We all had a wonderful time, with many memories, playing here. I had an amazing time at that school & met the best of friends. I wish every college student had the experience I did, especially with the women's hockey program (as new as it was to the school)."

"I owe so much of who I am to the Quinnipiac Women's Ice Hockey program and the incredible coaching staff. The experience shaped me in ways I never could have imagined, and I wouldn't be the person I am today without it. Being part of the Blue & Gold Society is a way to give back to the program that gave me everything and to help ensure future players have the same life-changing opportunities."
– Danielle Marmer '17, M.S. '21,
"Being an alumni continues to get better every year as I watch the success of the program continue to grow. It was an easy yes when asked to join the Blue & Gold Society, knowing I can be a small part in helping make sure these athletes get the elevated experience they deserve."
– Amanda Jaremko (Colin) '14
"I'm very proud to be an alumnus of the Quinnipiac women's ice hockey. QU has given so much to my family and I, from endless opportunities to forever memories. I joined the Blue & Gold Society to give back to the program because of everything they have done for us. I know how important the student athlete experience is because I lived it - I just want all current and future Bobcats to get that amazing experience."
