HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer has announced the signing of Didac Glories, as revealed by Head Coach Eric Da Costa and the Bobcats on Monday afternoon.
Glories will join the Bobcats as a first year from Spain, where he currently plays as a defender for Alboraya UD.
"What first attracted me to Quinnipiac University was its combination of academic excellence and athletic opportunities. I am interested in its industrial engineering program, which offers a hands-on education with strong industry connections. Additionally, its NCAA Division 1 soccer team and high-quality athletic facilities seemed ideal for my development as a student-athlete," said Glories.
The future Bobcat looks forward to starting to train and help the team succeed, as well as, "getting to know another culture, new people and to study in a great environment."
"My biggest goal is to play soccer at the professional level. I want to keep improving my game, gain experience in college soccer, and showcase my talent to take the next step in my career," said Glories. "I also want to grow with Quinnipiac and be able to achieve what is everyone's goal, to win games, tournaments and championships."
