HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Men's Lacrosse and Head Coach Mason Poli have revealed the Bobcats' captains for the upcoming 2024 season, as announced on Feb. 7, 2024.
John DeLucia, Zack Siegel, Steven Germain, and Trevor Douglas will serve as the leadership group for Quinnipiac – who begins the new season on Saturday, Feb. 10 at St. John's.
"We are excited to announce these 4 young men as our captains for our 2024 season," Head Coach Mason Poli said. "All were almost unanimously chosen by their peers to represent this team and program. The leadership and positive influence these 4 demonstrate on and off the field and in the classroom is admirable."
"To have DeLucia and Siegel return as two-time captains is invaluable to this team," Poli continued. "To have familiarity with their voices and presence has been noticeable. And to have Trevor and Germ join them was unquestionable. The accountability they take on themselves and hold their teammates to has helped bring the best out of this team and prepared us for this upcoming season."
DeLucia, a two-time captain, enters his fifth season at Quinnipiac with 96 career points (68 goals, 28 assists). He led the Bobcats with 52 total points a season ago, scoring 31 goals over 14 QU contests. DeLucia tallied six hat tricks in 2023. The Guilford, Connecticut-native has recorded 53 goals over the last two seasons with the Bobcats.

Germain has 84 career points at QU over three seasons – 48 goals and 36 helpers. The Setauket, New York-native enters the spring of 2024 having played in 34 games at QU.
Trevor Douglas rounds out the leadership group for the Bobcats.
