No. 18 Bobcats Return Home with Win over RPI

HAMDEN, Conn. — The No. 18 Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey program scored two second period goals on their way to a 3-1 win over RPI on Friday night.
Cerbone led the way for the Bobcats with a goal and an assist while the captain Travis Treloar and Jack Ricketts each chipped in a goal apiece.
Just over the halfway point on the game, Mason Marcellus threw a puck towards Andon Cerbone cutting to the net and he scored on his second effort.
It was Travis Treloar later in the second that scored on great passing set up by Cerbone and Jeremy Wilmer on the power play to double the lead.
Jack Ricketts scored his fourth of the year just 69 seconds into the third period, tucking a backhand just under the bar on a breakaway.
RPI would tally one late in the third but it wouldn't be enough as the Bobcats held on to get the win on home ice.

The Bobcats will host Union tomorrow afternoon in a 4:00 PM start at M&T Bank Arena and will be streamed on ESPN+.

- The Bobcats scored two power-play goals, tying a season high.
- Davis Pennington tallied his sixth assist of the season and his 30th point as a Bobcat.
