HAMDEN, Conn. — The No. 19 Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey program defeated Brown for its first league win of the year on Friday night, knocking off the Bears 3-2 at Meehan Auditorium.

After Brown scored the opener, the Aarons gave the Bobcats the lead, with Bohlinger scoring the tying goal on the man advantage at the 9:38 mark of the first and Schwartz giving Quinnipiac the lead at the 14:13 mark of the period.
Brown tied the game shorthanded before the two teams went scoreless until Groenewold's decider.
Matej Marinov got the start in net for Quinnipiac, making 18 saves on 20 Brown shots.
