HAMDEN, CT – Quinnipiac women's rugby battled to the finish on Saturday in Hamden, falling by the final score of 14-10 vs. Army.

Lily Morris and Layla Cox each found the try zone for Quinnipiac in the second half to cut into the deficit.

The Bobcats fall to 4-1-2 in 2024 with the loss.

Army got out to an early 14-0 lead at half, then QU scored twice in the second half of action.
Lily Morris scored in the 54^th minute, then Layla Cox found the try zone again less than six minutes later to cut the deficit to 14-10.
Layla Cox has found the try zone nine times in 2024.
QU is now 10-7 all-time against Army West Point. Army has won each of the last three meetings in Hamden.
